What is the cost of a birthday party at Blackburn Hall?
A birthday party at Blackburn Hall costs $200. If you’d like to rent our bounce house, that is an additional cost of $50.
When can I book a birthday party at Blackburn Hall?
We book birthday parties on Saturdays from 1-3pm and 4-6pm. You can call the Walpole Recreation Department and book your birthday party up to 90 days in advance of the party date.
What does a typical birthday party look like at Blackburn Hall?
Typically, party hosts spend the first half of the party in the main hall (upstairs) playing sports and jumping in the bounce house. After that, everyone is usually invited downstairs for food, cake, gifts, etc.
What is included in my birthday party rental?
We provide 32 white folding chairs, 8 six-foot white folding tables, and recreation staff to assist the party host with set up and clean up. Also included in your rental is 30 minutes before your party begins for set up and 30 minutes after your party for clean up. For facility scheduling purposes, we cannot accommodate extended set up time.
What sports are there to choose from for my birthday party rental?
Soccer, basketball, flag football, floor hockey, dodgeball, etc. We also have some small balance bikes, push toys, and parachute games for younger children to enjoy! If you’d like to rent our bounce house, that is an additional cost of $50.
What is not included in my birthday party rental?
Food, drinks, paper goods, decorations.
What is the maximum number of children allowed for birthday parties?
The maximum number of children for birthday parties is 25.
