"B" is for Brunch
Our trip begins with a stop at Swan Chocolates in Merrimack, New Hampshire, unveiling the most indulgent selection of gourmet truffles and signature chocolates. The decadent taste of Swan Chocolates comes from using pure Belgian Chocolate, fresh all-natural ingredients, and no preservatives ever! Our tour here allows us a first hand look at their production facility to learn about chocolate making. After Swan Chocolates, it’s off to Giorgio’s for a breakfast buffet, well known in the region for their delicious food and friendly professional staff. Giorgio’s Brunch Buffet includes over 10 different hot items as well as a Carving station, a made to order Omelet and Pancake station, Smoked Salmon, Fish cakes, frittered french toast, as well as a Chocolate fountain with a variety of cheesecakes, pastries and more. Relax and Enjoy, its Sunday, a day of rest! Finally, we enjoy a brewery tour of Anheuser-Bush. Anheuser-Busch and Budweiser have been interwoven into the fabric of the American culture and landscape since the 1850’s. We’ll learn the history of the company and how it has come to be recognized today in so many facets of daily life. We’ll have a “TasteFull” of beer at the end of our guided tours and visit the Budweiser Clydesdales in their Old World-Style Hamlet, one of the most beautiful settings for these majestic horses.
Rail and Sail
Upon arriving by motorcoach in Meredith, NH we board the Winnipesaukee Railroad for a one and a half hour excursion ultimately dropping us off at Weirs Beach in time to board the M/S Mount Washington for the second half of our Rail & Sail adventure! The “rails” will take us through some of New Hampshire’s best scenic areas. The most beautiful scenic cruise in New England takes us aboard the M/S Mount Washington on New Hampshire’s Lake Winnipesaukee, the largest and most beautiful lake in the state. This crystal clear lake is located in the foothills of the White Mountains in New Hampshire’s beautiful Lakes Region. An onboard luncheon buffet and Live Entertainment featuring
“Rock, Roll, and Remember.”
Lobster Roll Cruise
Join us as we travel to East Dennis for a 90 minute cruise and enjoy the wonderful views from the decks of the all new “Lobster Roll” cruise ship! Cruise through the calm waters of Sesuit Harbor and into the Cape Cod Bay and take in the beautiful picturesque coastline. Your lunch today is prepared by the award winning Sesuit Harbor Café and served on board. We will visit the Christmas Tree Shop in Sagamore after our lunch and cruise.
Holiday Magic
Day One: Our journey begins with a day at Mohegan Sun Casino. Travelers will receive Mohegan Sun’s prevailing gaming package of the day which includes food coupon and gaming bet. After a day of trying our luck at the casino we head to our hotel accommodations at either the New London Radisson or the Mystic Hilton. Tonight, following a lovely dinner in the Grand Ballroom, we head to Essex, CT where we’ll board our locomotive-powered sleigh...for a magical nighttime journey to the North Pole. On board the “NORTH POLE EXPRESS TRAIN every coach becomes a stage for a live, musical performance of The Night Before Christmas. Celebrate the spirit of the season with Santa and Mrs. Claus, sing-a-longs, hot chocolate and sugar cookies.
Day Two: We begin our day with a full hot and hearty All-American Buffet Breakfast at the hotel before leaving on our Adventure to the Big Apple & Radio City Music Hall. See the lights of Rockefeller Center and their Christmas Tree, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, 5th Avenue, Times Square, Broadway, the Ed Sullivan Theater and more! Today we take in the performance of the world famous Rockettes – a delight for anyone and everyone as they perform in the RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR SHOW. We’ll also have approximately three (3) hours for shopping and lunch on our own on 5th Avenue. We then depart for home with a rest stop along the way.
A Caribbean Christmas
The sounds of the Caribbean will fill the air at our Holiday party at Danversport Yacht Club. Enjoy the steel drums sounds of “Pan Loco”, direct from the Caribbean Islands! Trip includes round-trip motorcoach Transportation, a sit-down luncheon: Entrée choices-Baked Stuffed Chicken Breast or Baked Boston Scrod, garden salad, rolls, potato, vegetable, dessert, coffee and a visit from Santa.
Christmas at the Newport Mansions
There is something magical in the air at Christmas time in Newport. Come and see two of Newport’s most elegant mansions decorated and on display during this wonderful time of the year. Our Best of Times Tour Director will provide commentary and background on the history of Newport and point out interesting sights and historical landmarks during the driving portion of our Newport tour. Visits to The Breakers, the grandest of Newport’s summer “cottages”, and showcased will be The Marble House decked out in yuletide finery, with thousands of poinsettia plants, evergreens, wreaths, and fresh flowers highlight our day. Lunch today will be on our own at the famous Bowen’s Wharf area of Newport.
